Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. seeks skilled equipment mechanics/technicians to support utility and telecom sectors with a career in an OEM environment.

You will replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components, use manuals and resources, perform unit inspections, maintain a safe workspace, and adhere to Altec safety practices. Overtime may be available.

Openings nationwide; pay ranges from 65,000 to 85,000+ per year depending on skill and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Utilize technical resources and manuals to troubleshoot and identify parts.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to Altec safety practices and procedures.
• Assist in meeting customer needs and company objectives.
