Job summary

Altec is seeking an experienced equipment mechanic in the United States to join its service network. You will perform replacements of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components, use operator and maintenance manuals, and conduct Unit Condition Inspections while following safety practices and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerial devices or heavy equipment.
• Previous mechanic/technician experience focused on heavy equipment.
• Education in mechanics, electrical and/or hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Utilize operator, parts, and maintenance manuals in troubleshooting and repair.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Follow Altec safety practices in all tasks.
• Advise supervisors of situations affecting customer relationships.
• Provide accurate information on required documents.
• Demonstrate Altec Company Values and duties as assigned.
