• Performs equipment service/repair as assigned by Head Mechanic or Superintendent; may also perform Operator duties.
• Ensures proper operation of machines through inspection, feedback and repair.
• Responds to and repairs/maintains equipment as directed.
• Communicates needs, discrepancies and completions to the Head Mechanic.
• Documents work as instructed and keeps tools, supplies and shop organized and secure.
• Works safely and uses protective equipment; keeps the shop area clean.
• Does Operator work as directed.
• Reports repair requests to Head Mechanic.
• Provides best professional opinion.
• Performs any maintenance task as directed.
