Job summary

Auberge Collection is seeking a Golf Course Mechanic on the island of Hawaii to inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment used on the golf course. The role covers sharpening, height adjustments of cutting units, and maintenance of motors and small engines.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, a Hawaii driver’s license, and prior experience with mower repairs and electrical circuitry. Factory-supervised training certification is required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have a valid Hawaii State driver’s license.
• Experience and knowledge in repairs of small rotary mowers and hand-held equipment, and electrical circuitry.
• Golf course mechanic experience in grinding, sharpening, and adjusting reel mowers is preferred.
• Must have a background and certification in factory-supervised training.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, adjusts, diagnoses and repairs mechanical defects of all equipment assigned to the department.
• Sharpening and height adjustments of all cutting units.
• General overhaul and maintenance of motors/small engines.
• Prepares requisitions and orders parts/supplies required to perform such repairs.
