Qualifications

• 1–3 years of truck driving experience preferred.
• Flatbed experience is a plus.
• Experience operating a manual 18-speed transmission.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Reliable and committed to on-time deliveries.
• Maintain the truck and ensure all required inspections are current.
• Experience operating a pickup truck with multiple different trailers including gooseneck.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and equipment in Sacramento.
• Transport materials and equipment to job locations throughout California and parts of Nevada.
• Safely load and unload the truck using a reach lift.
• Gather and organize materials and equipment needed for upcoming jobs at the shop.
• Assist with various tasks and projects at the shop as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and help ensure the truck and trailers remain in safe, operational condition.
• Secure loads properly and follow all applicable safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the superintendent and foreman’s regarding deliveries and schedules.
