Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a CDL Driver & Delivery Helper to operate a commercial vehicle safely and deliver building materials while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and on-route inspections, loading/unloading heavy materials, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with DOT regulations. The role requires a Class B license (A preferred), a clean MVR, and strong safety and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL and at least a Class B license; Class A preferred.
• Three-year clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Boom or Crane experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects and safe operation.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and load.
• Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck.
• Deliver and unload materials to customer locations as directed.
• Prepare the truck for the following day and maintain equipment.
• Maintain records for compliance with regulations.
• Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
