Unknown Company in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking an Equipment Manager to grow with us. You will lead our equipment operation, supervise road service, manage repairs, control costs and advise leadership on equipment decisions.

You will handle breakdown calls, dispatch mobile mechanics and tow trucks, negotiate with repair shops, and track downtime and spend in Excel while supporting owner-operator expansion.

Qualifications

• Hands-on repair experience with heavy-duty trucks, trailers or similar equipment.
• Proficient in Excel and basic computer skills.
• Able to troubleshoot problems by phone with drivers on the road.
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7 for after-hours breakdowns.

we're looking for an Equipment Manager to grow with us. We're a large 3PL and freight broker, and our owner-operator program is expanding. You'll lead our equipment operation from our Fort Wayne, running road service and repairs, controlling cost, managing vendors and advising leadership on equipment decisions. It's a chance to build something and make it your own.

• Comfort negotiating with vendors and pushing back on bad invoices
• Willingness to take 24/7 on-call duty for after-hours breakdowns

Preferred Skills

• Dispatch experience or truck/fleet management experience is a plus
