Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Palm Bay, FL is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician for Photolithography maintenance on a night shift.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex lithography and metrology tools, ensuring uptime and reliability in a high-volume semiconductor fab. The role requires strong mechanical and electronic skills, SPC knowledge, and a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in TEL ACT8 coat/develop tracks.
• 5+ years in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Strong electronic skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving ability.
• Knowledge of SPC and its use in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of the Photolithography/Metrology tool sets.
• Troubleshoot and repair Canon iW/i1 Steppers and other listed equipment.
• Support equipment reliability and uptime in a high-volume fab environment.
• Document maintenance actions and ensure proper tool calibration.

Equipment Maintenance Technician (Photolithography- Nights)

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Photolithography Maintenance Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors.This is a night shift position, and hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7pm to 7am one week (Mon, Tue & Wed), and 4 days the next week (Mon, Tue, Wed & Thur).Every weekend off.

This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Photolithography/Metrology area. Tool sets include Canon iW /i1 Steppers, Perkin Elmer Aligners 600, SVG90,88,86 tracks, TEL ACT8 Coater and Developer tracks, Hitachi SEM, and IVS metrology tools.

Education Requirements:

• AS or BS in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

• 5+ years supporting TEL ACT8 coat/develop tracks.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a semiconductor-manufacturing environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong electronic skills
• Demonstrated problem solving ability
• Must have knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Due to the nature of this position and the required access to areas where ITAR-controlled articles and/or technical data may be present, candidates must meet the applicable U.S. person requirements for ITAR access. This includes individuals who are:

• A lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder); or

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.
