Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our semiconductor wafer fab in Palm Bay, Florida. This role involves preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills. The position is 100% onsite with compressed work weeks (3 days, 7am–7pm one week; 4 days the next) and both day and night shifts

Qualifications

3+ years maintaining equipment in Wafer Fab functional areas such as Diffusion/LPCVD, EPI, Etch, or Thin Films.
Strong foundation of mechanical skills.
Knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems.
Strong foundation of electronic skills.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Experience in installation, operation, repair and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
Ability to diagnose, test, and repair equipment using electrical repair procedures.
Excellent oral communication skills and written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem solving ability.
Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues.
Install, operate, repair, and maintain electromechanical equipment.
Diagnose and test equipment using electrical repair procedures.
Communicate findings clearly to team members.

Equipment Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor Wafer Fab)

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors. This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom. If you are qualified and interested.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

AS or AA in electronics, electrical, mechanical engineering or military training in electronics, avionics, or nuclear power support.

Experience Requirements / Skills:

3+ years maintaining equipment in one or more Wafer Fab functional areas such as Diffusion/LPCVD, EPI, Etch, or Thin Films.
Strong Foundation of mechanical skills
Demonstrable knowledge of pneumatic, vacuum, hydraulic, and robotic systems
Strong foundation of electronic skills
Understanding and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

Physical Requirements:

This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.

Additional Information

This position is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Hours are on a compressed work week, 3 days- 7am to 7pm one week, and 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts are available.
