Job summary

Microchip Technology in Colorado Springs is seeking a skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance, calibration and repair of wafer probers, package handlers, ATE testers, ovens, and related equipment within the Colorado Springs Test Operations area.

The role requires 2+ years of electro-mechanical maintenance experience, familiarity with schematics, multimeters and soldering irons, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' work-related experience or training in electro-mechanical maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AS technical degree or electronics certificate preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and instructions.
• Experience with multimeters and soldering irons.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration and repair on production equipment.
• Work with production and engineering personnel in a team environment.
• Follow safety and testing protocols per MCSO guidelines.
• Interface with OEMs and contractors for repairs.
• Analyze data and assist in PM schedule optimization.
• Attend trainings on site or at supplier facilities.
