Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Tampa, FL is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician II for a 12-hour night shift. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and minor electrical issues, support changeovers, inspect and repair components, and document all work in the CMMS following GDP and cGMP principles. Join a team focused on safety, quality, and uptime.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a GMP or manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, pneumatic, and minor electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic diagrams.
• Experience performing equipment setups, adjustments, and component-level repairs.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order execution and documentation.
• Understanding of GDP and cGMP principles related to maintenance activities.
• High attention to safety, quality, and detail in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Support equipment changeovers, setups, and functional checks before production runs.
• Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components such as belts, bearings, seals, and actuators.
• Conduct basic electrical support including sensors, switches, and signal connections.
• Document all work in the CMMS following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Partner with operations and quality teams to reduce downtime and support root‑cause investigations.
