Job summary

Arizona Building Supply is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts, trucks and related equipment. You will dismantle engines, inspect components, and follow safety procedures under supervision.

High School or GED is required; forklift certification and bilingual ability are valuable. A strong focus on safety and accurate record-keeping is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of warehouse maintenance and vehicle background may be required.
• High School or GED is required; additional related training may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain work area and all equipment in a clean, safe condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs as directed.
• Repair equipment per manufacturer specs and lockout/tagout.
• Maintain equipment records neatly and orderly.
• Assist in general building maintenance and wiring tasks as needed.
• Operate pallet jack and forklift safely.
