Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience in material handling.
• Own your own tools and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Good driving record and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Repair gasoline, LPG, electric or diesel forklifts.
• Disassemble and overhaul engines, transmissions, clutches and other assemblies.
• Replace worn or broken parts and perform brake adjustments.
• Lubricate vehicles and perform related maintenance on lift trucks.
• Complete paperwork to open/close work orders and keep supervisor informed.
• Maintain a clean work area and practice safe work habits.
• May need to travel to customer sites with company van.
• Attend technical classes when offered as part of ongoing training.
