Job summary

McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group, seeks a Utilities Maintenance Technician at our Fenton, MO location. The role provides maintenance, logistics, and service support across departments, ensuring safety and proper documentation for equipment and shipments.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, forklift certification (training on the job), and a willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Construction & Forestry equipment knowledge is highly recommended.
• Understanding of mechanical and technical terms.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift Certification (will train on the job for right candidate).
• Experience with basic computer functions, communicating effectively.
• Overtime after 8 hours.
• $22.53 hourly wage.
• Uniforms are provided and cleaned at no charge.
• Prescription Safety Glasses allowance.

Responsibilities

• Clean, align and rotate equipment displays to create the best image for the business.
• Provide thorough inspection of new equipment; maintain an up-to-date equipment/attachment inventory.
• Receive and check in equipment for service; coordinate daily branch activities.
• Assist in loading equipment leaving the store; ensure proper documentation.
• Check in/check out of rental equipment; document damages and assist with estimates.
• Deliver parts and machine attachments to customers.
• Collaborate with all departments to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and employees.
