McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group, seeks a Field Service Technician in Evansville, IN to travel within a designated service area. You will diagnose and repair heavy construction and forestry equipment at customer sites, with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years heavy equipment customer-facing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
• Ability to build relationships while providing high-quality customer service.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair mechanical and system issues.
• Fabricate lifting, towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices from blueprints or schematics.
• Maintain a clean work area, tools, truck, and equipment.
• Ensure work is performed safely following safety procedures.
