Tesla Global Service Manufacturing Maintenance Team is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfill our Equipment Maintenance Planner role. This role requires experience with critical spare part identification, preventative, corrective workorder, creation, tracking, reporting and data analysis utilizing industry mean-time metrics standards and maintain CMMS. Individual will report directly to the equipment maintenance department and will be expected to collaborate with equipment engineering, equipmnet material spares, crossfunctional teams and external vendors / contractors. This role includes optimizing scheduled work, utilizing various groups across multiple different shifts operating in high pace 24-7 manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Partner with engineering, maintenance, controls, production, and other technical groups to identify critical spare part requirements, including justification and proposal to managementCoordinate and drive spare part stock location setup to mitigate part delivery delay during breakdowns & identify opportunities for local inventory based on consumption and impactCoordinate and drive preventative maintenance planning systems, prioritization, and workload evaluation. Including creating critical job standards, specifications and goalsCoordinate and drive plantwide shutdown planning; Including summary of planned work, headcount, cost, safety, and other metricsCoordinate and drive engineering and maintenance reliability with activity tracking, data analysis, plant simulation, and system improvementsCoordinate and drive technical training & technical support with vendors and other internal or external groups as applicableCoordinate and drive difficult breakdowns and chronic equipment failures, attend larger breakdowns to coordinate next steps, part / tool requirements, and MTTR tracking Requirements 3+ years of experience working with CMMS, ERP or equivalent tool to manage work orders and spare parts3+ years of experience working in a technical roleProficient with Excel and database applications for data analysisProduction modelling & changepoint simulation experienceProven ability to present succinctly to peer and management levelsProven interpersonal skills and ability to objectively resolve conflict within a large groupMust have command of the English language, both written and verbalEssential Physical DemandsAbility to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a dayAbility to stand and walk for up to 12 hours / day, including over varied and uneven terrainFrequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairsFrequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install partsStoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours / dayClimb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structuresAbility to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearingWearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to : safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, arm protection, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines Compensation and Benefits BenefitsAlong with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire :
