Job summary

Walbec Group in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Support Assistant to help run day-to-day operations of the Equipment Maintenance team under the Shop Manager. You will assist in generating work orders, scanning documents, ensuring parts availability, and setting up PM schedules.

You will maintain PM kits, code invoices, maintain reference parts, update equipment meters, and ensure accurate records in the 360 system, while coordinating repair requests with urgency and attention

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with team and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data management.
• Ability to thrive under pressure with shifting priorities.
• Comfort with computer software and system navigation.
• Attention to detail for data entry and documentation.
• Willingness to become a power user of the E360 system.

Responsibilities

• Assist shop supervisors in generating, opening, and closing work orders accurately and on time.
• Scan and upload documents into the 360 system, ensuring all files are organized and accessible.
• Work with the Shop Parts Manager to ensure parts availability and proper documentation for maintenance tasks.
• Create and set up Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, ensuring they align with maintenance needs and available resources.
• Build PM parts kits, verifying that all required parts are included and properly documented with P&D numbers.
• Code invoices to streamline the approval process and ensure accurate accounting for maintenance-related expenses.
• Assist with creating and maintaining reference parts tabs for easy access to essential part information.
• Regularly update equipment meters (e.g., hours, mileage) to keep track of equipment usage for maintenance purposes.
• Enter and maintain equipment details accurately in the 360 system to ensure complete and up-to-date records.
• Organize and track repair requests, ensuring timely processing and prioritization based on urgency.
