Equipment Machine Operator (FOT) Cleanroom

Join Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies as an Equipment Machine Operator (FOT) Cleanroom.

Location: Lakewood, CO

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Job Overview

The role involves accountability for manufacturing procedures and documentation related to automated manufacturing equipment and processes. Responsibilities include material handling, inspecting, testing, assembling, packaging, bonding, or welding components in compliance with regulatory standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage automated processes, including training, safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Use specialized tools and test equipment for assembly, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and packaging of mechanical and electronic sub-assemblies.
• Ensure GMP compliance on the manufacturing floor.
• Identify issues affecting production schedules and collaborate on solutions.
• Detect non-conforming products and handle dispositions according to procedures.
• Operate and maintain automated equipment, including start-up and shut-down, and execute monthly production schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve quality, safety, and process issues, including process verifications and documentation.
• Perform quality control checks and documentation prior to product release.
• Maintain efficiency in material handling and process operations.
• Utilize and maintain proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, and HMI interfaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical background preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; experience in process control, molding/welding quality, and HMI interactions is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for operating automated equipment.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and interpret technical documents.
• Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport up to 500 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity, ability to work in a clean room environment, and perform repetitive motions.

Benefits and Compensation

Hourly pay range: $22.00 - $28.00, with a target bonus of 7.0%. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellness programs, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.
