Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking an Equipment Coordinator I to manage requests for 3rd party rental equipment, coordinate delivery, maintenance, and return, and ensure accurate reporting. The role emphasizes close communication with Michels personnel and strong customer service through ownership and professionalism.

You will support project leaders, coordinate with vendors, and help allocate department equipment needs while maintaining safety and efficiency across sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Computer proficiency, especially in Excel.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team.

Responsibilities

• Create, analyze, and maintain a variety of reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools and/or software.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with 3rd party vendors.
• Coordinate with project leaders and jobsites on delivery, maintenance, and pickup.
• Coordinate repair and servicing activities with both internal teams and external vendors. Organize and move basic equipment (pickup trucks) throughout the yard.
• Collaborate with company, divisional and department leads to ensure coordinator and allocation of department equipment needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with 3rd party vendors to facilitate smooth operations
