James River Equipment in Waldorf, MD is seeking an Equipment Inventory Coordinator to support the sales team by tracking daily equipment inventory, securing hauling, and invoicing services. The role emphasizes pricing accuracy and coordinating with vendors to ensure machine availability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rental operations and be proficient with Word and Excel, with strong organizational and communication skills. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Experience in rental industry or machine costing preferred.
• CDK experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers to assess needs and take initiative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Support sales team by tracking daily equipment inventory, ensuring inventory information is correct in dealer operating system, and finding equipment to best suit customers’ needs
• Secure hauling for machines to/from job sites, correctly invoice these services, and inspect machines prior to leaving/upon arriving to the yard
• Quote rental rates, machine and attachment prices to customers and sales team
• Work with inventory coordinators across company to ensure availability of machines, move old/used inventory, and negotiate with vendors
• Help with walk in/phone sales and complete invoicing/billing correctly and in a timely manner
