Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Orlando, FL is seeking an Equipment Operator for Utility Line Clearance. You will operate tractors and mobile equipment on utility right‑of‑way and contribute to crew safety and efficiency as a key team member.

Preferred candidates have at least two years of mobile equipment operating experience, and CDL Class B is highly valuable. Willingness to travel up to 25% may be required and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years mobile equipment operating experience and training.
• Experience in Utility Line Clearance and Tree Removal is preferred.
• Experience with Excavators, Skid Steers, and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Capable of successfully passing a mobile equipment operations certification test.
• CDL Class B with air brakes highly valuable.

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of two (2) years mobile equipment operating experience and training which provides the necessary operations skills, knowledge and abilities is required
• Experience in Utility Line Clearance and Tree Removal is preferred
• Experience with Excavators, Skid Steers, and hydrolic systems are a plus

• CDL Class B w/air brakes highly valuable
