Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. in Wilson, NC is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Utility Line Clearance crew. You will operate tractor and mobile equipment on utility right-of-way and support the crew to remove trees safely.

Qualified applicants have at least 2 years of mobile equipment operating experience, utility line clearance and tree removal experience, and must pass a mobile equipment operations certification test; CDL Class B with air brakes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years mobile equipment operating experience and training.
• Experience in Utility Line Clearance is required.
• Capable of passing a mobile equipment operations certification test.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tractor & mobile equipment on utility right-of-way.

Job Duties

• Position involves operating Tractor & mobile equipment on utility right-of-way
• Responsible for equipment and crew safety when removing trees on utility right-of-way
• Assist in all job functions as a member of the crew

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of two (2) years mobile equipment operating experience and training which provides the necessary operations skills, knowledge and abilities is required
• REQUIRED: Experience in Utility Line Clearance and Tree Removal
• Be capable of successfully passing a mobile equipment operations certification test
• CDL Class B w/air brakes highly valuable
