Job summary
Mortenson is seeking an Equipment Solutions Supervisor-Maintenance and Service to lead the service, maintenance, and repair operations of our equipment fleet, delivering exceptional customer service to project teams and partners. This role provides leadership to mechanics, technicians, and team members to ensure safety, reliability, and availability.
Location is Phoenix, AZ on-site five days a week. The ideal candidate has deep experience in maintenance, fleet operations, diagnostics, and vendor
Qualifications
- 5+ years of equipment maintenance or fleet management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction equipment and preventive maintenance.
- Experience managing service vendors and repair contracts.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and warranty programs.
- Establish maintenance priorities to maximize uptime.
- Develop and monitor service schedules and work orders.
- Coordinate repairs with technicians, vendors, and project teams.
- Serve as primary contact for equipment service support.
- Communicate equipment status and availability to stakeholders.
- Evaluate service proposals and monitor vendor performance.
- Assist with forecasting and capital expenditure planning.
- Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs while maintaining reliability.
