Job summary

HomeTrust Bank seeks an experienced Equipment Finance Regional Sales Manager in Roanoke, VA to drive the sales strategy for the equipment finance portfolio. You will build profitable relationships with HomeTrust Bank clients and non-bank prospects both in footprint and out of footprint.

You will maintain a regular calling program, analyze financial data for risk, and collaborate with Commercial Relationship Managers to execute transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of equipment financing and leasing experience.
• Experience in equipment financing product development, profitability, and pricing.
• Knowledge of tax and accounting rules as they pertain to leasing and changes in tax law.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a scheduled calling program with commercial clients and prospects to develop the equipment finance product and other bank services.
• Identifies and addresses areas of competition and potential new markets to maximize portfolio volume and earnings.
• Targets calling efforts toward private and public companies with high capital expenditures and focuses on end-users and vendors of equipment.
• Analyzes client and prospect financial data to manage risk and prepare credit applications for underwriting partners.
• Attains or exceeds annual budgets for volume, fees, and other objectives, with an average of $300,000 per transaction.
• Collaborates with HomeTrust Bank Commercial Relationship Managers; conducts joint calls and referrals.
• Provides equipment finance product training at bank meetings.
• Structures and designs viable equipment finance transactions meeting customer needs from start to close.
