Gordon Brothers Commercial Equipment Finance seeks a Manager to support the Equipment Management Group. You will assist in structuring and underwriting equipment risk, monitor the portfolio, and manage lease-related activities from origination to remarketing.

The role requires 3+ years in asset management with equipment focus, and strong financial and negotiation skills. Travel domestically 10%+; Melville, NY base preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in asset management with focus on equipment management.
• Experience in fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
• ASA is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build and expand relationships with Gordon Brothers and act as trusted advisor on industry trends, equipment values and resale/liquidation strategies.
• Evaluate and forecast current and future market conditions, equipment values and technology trends to provide expert guidance to stakeholders.
• Recommend residuals, residual matrices and lease documentation including maintenance and return provisions.
• Provide inspection and appraisal support for new and existing transactions.
• Assist in the lease termination process including buyouts, renewals and inventory management.
• Assist in remarketing returned equipment for lease and/or sale with go-to-market strategies.
• Participate in portfolio reviews including lease profitability forecasting and impairment reviews.
• Assist in troubled asset remediation including collection, inspection, valuation, litigation and repossession activities.
