Job summary

The Equipment Finance Ops Analyst 1 - Accounts Receivable at Huntington Commercial Bank is responsible for processing a high volume of payments to customer accounts via lockbox, W/T, ACH and checks, and for posting general ledger entries.

This role coordinates pass-through payments to investors, answers AR inquiries, supports audit requests, and ensures internal controls are followed. Office-based position with potential flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Efficient PC skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Experience with loan and leasing payable system integrated processing into payables system.

Responsibilities

• Process high volume payments to customer accounts via lockbox, wire transfer, ACH and checks.
• Post general ledger entries and balance cash postings daily.
• Coordinate pass-through payments to investors.
• Respond to AR requests via ticketing system and accounting inbox.
• Research payment discrepancies with portfolio team.
• Deposit payments via remote deposit system.
• Work with Portfolio & Customer Service to resolve payment issues.
• Assist with AR projects and audits.
• Follow internal controls and procedures.
