Job summary

Freedom Enterprises owns and operates 60+ Scooter’s Coffee locations across KS, MO, NE, and IA, and we’re growing fast. We’re looking for an Equipment and Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our shops running smoothly and our equipment in top shape.

You’ll report to the Facilities Manager and work closely with our store teams. You’ll be our go-to for keeping equipment and facilities safe, clean, and working right, with tasks including repairing espresso machines, fridges, HVAC, plumbing,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Experience working on equipment or machinery.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working occasional evenings/weekends.
• Able to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces.
• Basic tools (we’ll provide any specialty ones).
• Willingness to travel 40% of the time (KS, MO, IA, NE).
• Ability to manage tasks independently.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment and facilities in Scooter’s Coffee locations.
• Fix equipment: brewers, fridges/freezers, water filters, ice machines, HVAC.
• Light plumbing, basic electrical, and general handyman work.
• Support renovations, new builds, and installations.
• Keep records of work orders and repairs.
• Travel for repairs within 3.5 hrs of KC, with occasional overnights.
• Check in daily at the KC office for assignments (M–F).
