The Department of the Air Force Headquarters seeks a Facilities Services Assistant to support modification, operations, maintenance and repair of Air Force Real Property for NASIC occupied buildings.
This GG-07 role uses DCIPS with GS-07 equivalence and requires meeting specialized experience and education standards, including strong customer service and clear communication about maintenance updates to occupants and supervisors.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Facilities Services Assistant in support of the modification, operations support, maintenance, and repair of Air Force Real Property and capital support equipment for NASIC occupied buildings.
This is a GG-07 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-07 duties for the "Technician/Administrative Support" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-07 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position.
Examples of creditable experience include knowledge of established building operations and maintenance procedures, and customer service protocols, requiring considerable training and experience in standardized rules and operational guidelines.. Must possess exceptional communication and customer service skills to proactively communicate maintenance updates and potential disruptions to supervisors, building occupants, and other stakeholders using clear and courteous language.
Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
