Job summary

Micross in New York is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support manufacturing operations.

You will train operators, assist with DOE validations, and execute qualification plans to ensure equipment meets performance specs. Travel up to 10% for training and process improvements are expected to contribute to overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience on job or Trade School Graduate with experience.
• Travel up to 10% for training.
• Associate degree or technical school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to support operational efficiency.
• Train machine operators on setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop and implement Design Of Experiment (DOE) to validate and release equipment to manufacturing.
• Execute qualification plans to ensure equipment performs repeatable and meets stated capabilities.
• Generate and update equipment programs and procedures for front line operators.
• Evaluate installations and recommend design modifications to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
