Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, MET, Diesel Technology, or Automotive Technology.
• Willingness to travel or relocate as needed.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer (May–August).
• Able to access all points of a construction site in varied climates and environments.
• Demonstrated motivation, work ethic, ethics and integrity, and safety focus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Material handling and procurement.
• Create and maintain tool/filter lists and documentation.
• Inspections of equipment and parts.
• Logistics management and communication.
• Long/short range equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Planning and paperwork for critical lifts.
• Use reliability data to increase equipment availability and reliability.
• Maintain communication across supervision and management levels.
• Support craft maintenance technicians and manage inventory, scheduling, and quality.
• Handle specialty projects as needed.
