Job summary

IVAM Microtechnology Network in Itzehoe is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our production facilities and take technical responsibility for a group of systems. You will ensure the systems' availability, perform maintenance and documentation, and drive KPI-based improvements.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or related certification, willingness to work on-call, and fluent German and English. We offer flexible hours and remote-work options to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or master craftsman/technician certification with a technical specialization.
Experience handling hazardous materials is preferred.
Independent and solution-oriented approach to work.
Strong communication, motivation and reliability.
Willing to work on-call shifts.
Excellent command of German and English.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for production facilities with full technical responsibility for a group of systems.
Ensure technical availability of systems and equipment.
Maintain and repair systems, facilities and equipment, documenting work performed.
Calculate production- and system-specific KPIs.
Coordinate department projects to optimize system availability and derive improvements.
Collaborate cross-team to increase production efficiency.
