Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our Dallas-based manufacturing team. You will contribute to selecting and maintaining critical fabrication equipment.

You will collaborate with process engineers and repair teams to improve uptime, reliability, and safety, while staying current with OEM notices.

This role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and strong problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and order equipment for manufacturing.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Keep current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability.
• Establish programs to increase uptime and address equipment problems.
• Provide technical support to the repair and process engineering teams.
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
