• Overseeing installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Staying current on equipment manufacturers' notices, upgrades and safety issues
• Studying equipment performance and reliability
• Establishing uptime programs and solutions for equipment problems in manufacturing
• Providing technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams
• Defining and writing preventative maintenance schedules
