Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support Dallas-area manufacturing by driving uptime and optimizing tool performance. You will study equipment reliability, plan preventive maintenance, and collaborate with process engineers to deliver cost-effective improvements.

You will engage with vendors, analyze data to improve overall equipment effectiveness, and define operation specifications and training materials to support the manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment in a fab environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Study equipment performance and reliability, and maintain equipment.
• Drive cost of ownership toward optimized performance.
• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most cost-effective for production.
• Keep current on equipment manufacturer notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Work with vendors to sustain and enhance equipment performance.
