Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a seasoned equipment engineer/designer to develop and implement engineered gas applications for the food processing sector. You will oversee design, modeling, budgeting, and post-installation support across projects, ensuring compliance and safety throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years hands-on experience in industrial gases or food processing, strong CAD and writing skills, and a BS in engineering.

Qualifications

• BS degree in industrial, mechanical, or chemical engineering (required).
• 10+ years hands-on equipment engineer/designer experience in food processing or industrial gases industry.
• Experience with AutoCAD and technical writing.
• Strong communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design, cost estimate, and project schedule.
• Perform design (CAD modeling) and engineering of equipment and systems.
• Prepare technical proposals, bid packages, and project schedules.
• Manage equipment fabrication and project budget.
• Support installation, commissioning, startup, and post-installation support.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
