Job summary

TEMPO Employment Services is seeking a dependable Equipment Delivery & Yard Associate in Houlton, ME to join a long-term, temp-to-hire team. You will help deliver and pick up equipment, maintain the yard, and support customer service.

This role starts full-time days from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts after training. Prior hands-on work is helpful, but training is provided; a valid Class C license and safe driving history are required.

Houlton, ME – Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Schedule: Full-time/Days; five days per week, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM. The successful candidate will eventually be scheduled to work approximately every third Saturday. Payrate: $18.00–$23.00/hr., depending on experience.

Now seeking a dependable Equipment Delivery & Yard Associate to join a well-established business in Houlton. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, working with equipment, and providing excellent customer service.

The Equipment Delivery & Yard Associate will assist with the delivery, pickup, cleaning, and general maintenance of equipment. Responsibilities will also include helping set up and tear down tents, loading and unloading items, organizing the yard, and assisting customers and coworkers as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a reliable employment history, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience with equipment, deliveries, general labor, maintenance, construction, landscaping, or a similar hands‑on position is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Mechanical ability or familiarity with tools and equipment is helpful.
• Previous delivery, construction, maintenance, warehouse, equipment, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work approximately every third Saturday once fully trained.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and other items.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely assist with moving equipment and setting up or tearing down tents.
