Job summary

Liberty Medical Specialties in Whiteville, NC seeks a part-time Equipment Delivery Technician to join our home medical equipment team. You will deliver patient orders, perform in-home inventories, and demonstrate equipment operation for patients and caregivers.

The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, standing and driving for long periods, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. This position offers 29 hours/week, with hourly pay and no benefits at this time.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing delivery routes and preparing route sheets.
• Deliver patient orders to homes.
• Perform in-home supply inventories.
• Demonstrate equipment operation and maintenance to patients and caregivers.
• Pickup used supplies and equipment after therapy.
• Service DME equipment including concentrators, oxygen, wheelchairs.
• Assist in cleaning and inspecting equipment and performing functional tests.

Liberty Medical Specialties, a leading provider of home medical equipment, supplies and services, is looking for a part time EQUIPMENT DELIVERY TECHNICIAN in WHITEVILLE, NC!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with organizing delivery routes and preparing daily distribution route sheet
• Performing individual delivery of patient orders
• Conducting in-home patient supply inventories
• Demonstrating correct equipment operation and maintenance procedures to patients, caregivers, clinicians, etc.
• Performing pickups of supplies and equipment at the completion of patient therapy
• Servicing various equipment: concentrators, oxygen, patient aid devices, wheelchairs and various other DME
• Assisting in the cleaning, inspection of, and performance of functional tests of Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

**Due to the physical nature of this position, must have the ability to lift 75+ pounds, as well as the ability to stand and drive for long periods of time.**

Other MUST HAVES:

• Valid Driver's License

• Must Pass Drug Test

PART TIME (29 hours/week M-F)
