Job summary

Liberty Medical Specialties in Whiteville, NC is seeking a full-time Repair Technician to troubleshoot and repair LMSI durable medical equipment, including wheelchairs and oxygen concentrators. The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, standing and driving as needed, and on-site work Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a drug test with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• High School Diploma required.
• Must Pass Drug Test and have a Clean Driving Record.
• Some experience dealing with patients, privacy and healthcare protocol preferred.

• Conducts troubleshooting and repairs on LMSI durable medical equipment.
• Conducts troubleshooting and repairs on custom wheelchair and power chairs.
• Conducts troubleshooting and repairs various makes and models of oxygen concentrators and respiratory medical equipment.
• Performs and tracks the preventative maintenance of LMSI equipment and oxygen concentrators.
• Service oxygen concentrators through several stages in which each individual component is checked.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance and any quality checks that are to be performed on any equipment.
• Document damaged equipment for warranty repairs and processes applicable repair work orders.
• Repair damaged equipment including custom and power chairs.

Liberty Medical Specialties, a leading provider of home medical equipment, supplies and services, is looking for a full time REPAIR TECHNICIAN in WHITEVILLE, NC!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducts troubleshooting and repairs on LMSI durable medical equipment.
• Conducts troubleshooting and repairs on custom wheelchair and power chairs.
• Conducts troubleshooting and repairs various makes and models of oxygen concentrators and respiratory medical equipment.

Due to the physical nature of this position, must have the ability to lift 75+ pounds, as well as the ability to stand and drive for long periods of time.

FULL TIME (40 hrs./wk. M-F) with on-call opportunities to supplement hours/income.
