Job summary

Liberty Medical Specialties in Whiteville, NC is hiring a full-time Equipment Delivery Technician to transport and deliver Durable Medical Equipment to patients' homes, set up devices, and provide instruction on operation.

The role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to lift 75+ pounds, and willingness to pass a drug test. On-site 40 hours/week with potential on-call opportunities; benefits include health and life insurance, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.

• Some experience dealing with patients, privacy and healthcare protocol preferred.

• Assisting with organizing delivery routes and preparing daily distribution route sheet
• Performing individual delivery of patient orders
• Conducting in-home patient supply inventories
• Demonstrating correct equipment operation and maintenance procedures to patients, caregivers, clinicians, etc.
• Performing pickups of supplies and equipment at the completion of patient therapy
• Servicing various equipment: concentrators, oxygen, patient aid devices, wheelchairs and various other DME
• Assisting in the cleaning, inspection of, and performance of functional tests of Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

Due to the physical nature of this position, must have the ability to lift 75+ pounds, as well as the ability to stand and drive for long periods of time.

FULL TIME ( 40 hours/week M-F) with on-call opportunities to supplement hours/income.
