The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for equipment inventory control, maintaining adequate stock levels, monitoring inventory, and supporting forecasted demand for The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, the Critical Care Tower, and the Emergency Department. This role works closely with departments throughout the organization to distribute medical equipment and ensure equipment needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Key responsibilities include receiving and processing equipment distribution requests, fulfilling and tracking orders, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and managing the inventory of non-capital equipment. The Equipment Coordinator collaborates with the Assistant Director, Manager, and Inventory Control Analyst to support the implementation of building standards across the James campus. This position is accountable for ensuring compliance with patient care standards, business practices, and equipment operation requirements, supporting a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week healthcare environment.
High school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant experience in inventory management, supply chain, materials management, equipment coordination, or a related healthcare support role.
