Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Chandler, AZ seeks an Equipment Engineer/Technician responsible for maintaining equipment, operating efficiently, and supporting commissioning, installation, and development of standards and training for new equipment.

You will work with contractors to ensure safety and accuracy, assist in installation, training, and repair, identify and procure new equipment, obtain specifications, and explore retrofits while supporting process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; may consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and/or operations equipment.

Responsibilities

• Works with contractors to ensure safety and accuracy of work.
• Provides support for the installation, training, and repair of equipment.
• Assists in the identification and procurement of new equipment; obtains specifications and design information.
• Identifies and implements options for equipment retrofits and repairs.
• Supports process improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
