Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations. You will assist technicians, sales staff and other personnel by providing labor support and performing a range of manual tasks to ensure smooth operations. The role offers opportunities for advancement into driver and service technician development programs.

Excellence in this position can lead to progression, with emphasis on safety, teamwork and customer service across daily duties at the branch.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear communication and teamwork are essential for handling multiple tasks safely.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and support to branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and proper working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment to customers and operate delivery truck.
• Other duties as assigned.
