United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to perform a variety of manual tasks and provide labor support to service technicians, sales staff, and branch personnel. The role ensures smooth branch operations and customer needs are met while safety is emphasized.

Excellence in this position paves the way for advancement into Driver and Service Technician development programs. This is an on-site role in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and teamwork skills.
• Diligent attention to safety and quality.
• Superior customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level on return.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and proper working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load/unload equipment and prepare for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment to customers and operate delivery vehicle.
• Perform other duties as needed.
