Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support technicians, sales staff and branch personnel. You will provide labor assistance and help ensure smooth branch operations while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Opportunities exist for advancement into Driver and Service Technician development programs, with a strong focus on teamwork and reliable performance in a fast-paced rental environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and teamwork skills.
• Diligent attention to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level on return.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and ensure good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
• Load/unload rental equipment and prepare for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment; drive a delivery truck when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
