Job Description
Job Duties
- Performs various maintenance duties and handles service requests requiring technical labor skills.
- Troubleshooting, installation, and repair of all electrical components at our facility.
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Knowledge and understanding of 480 3 Phase.
- Knowledge and understanding of production equipment.
- Performs work requiring knowledge of electrical/electronic principles, wiring specifications, and electrical codes.
- Responsible for the installation and continued maintenance of all equipment and structural components in the facility.
- Repairs all equipment and building components.
- Makes adjustments, replaces parts, and fabricates corrective activities as necessary using mechanical, electrical, piping, and carpentry skills.
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains industrial process equipment for all production process and control equipment.
- Handles all electrical power, automation controllers, VFDs, transducers, proximity sensors, and inspection devices.
General Accountabilities
- Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts.
- Performs routine maintenance.
- Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them.
- Repairs machines, equipment, or structures.
- Maintains or repairs specialized equipment or machinery.
- Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
- Orders parts, supplies, or equipment.
- Plans and lays out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
- Performs general cleaning duties of buildings or properties.
- Records type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
