Job summary

King & George is seeking an Equipment Accountability Element Specialist to administer non-vehicle equipment accountability, authorizations and custodian support at the Pittsburgh area site.

You will manage equipment records, process transactions in DPAS, coordinate deployments and inventories, and support audits while maintaining on-site coverage and accuracy of records. This full-time role requires Air Force materiel-management experience and the ability to work with Government representatives.

Qualifications

• Experience using Air Force ILS-S/ESS or applicable AFITS within the last five years.
• At least one year of base-level general materiel management experience.
• DPAS or similar-system proficiency and working knowledge of DoDI 5000.64_DAFI 23-111 and DAFI 23-101.
• Meet B1.2.2 general materiel qualifications: Air Force 2S051 skill-level requirements, two years in an Air Force materiel management activity, or civilian-equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment accounts, custody receipts, authorization records and SPRAM files.
• Process equipment transactions in DPAS and research rejected transactions.
• Conduct organizational visits and verify equipment location, accountability and supporting records.
• Coordinate equipment deployments, transfers and inventories. Perform no other assigned duties; qualified alternate coverage is required.
• Maintain current custodian appointments, authorization listings and equipment account files; identify missing or inconsistent records.
• Track account discrepancies, overdue actions and required reconciliations through resolution.
• Prepare supporting documentation for property audits and coordinate reconciliation/status reviews with the materiel manager.
• Observe required physical verification and organizational-review procedures without assuming warehouse receiving, inventory counting, physical property handling or overlapping TRIC duties.
