Independence Equine & Small Animal Clinic in Texas is seeking an Experienced Equine Veterinary Technician for a full-time role. You will assist veterinarians on farm calls and in-clinic procedures, support lameness exams, dentistry, surgery, anesthesia monitoring, and patient care for equine and large animal patients.

The ideal candidate has horses experience, strong client communication, and the ability to work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Experience with horses is required.
• Equine veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians on farm calls and in-clinic procedures.
• Support lameness exams, dentistry, surgery, and emergency care.
• Administer medications, vaccines, IV fluids, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Collect and run lab samples and provide nursing care.
