Job summary

Lodi Veterinary Care is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Service Specialist to join our Equine team full time. You will schedule ambulatory and in-house visits, assist with record keeping and accounts receivable questions, and manage patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are variable with a Saturday rotation; position requires 18+ to apply and ability to lift 50 lb for client product requests. We value clear communication and a friendly, professional demeanor among teammates and clients.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Genuine love for animals and working in an animal care environment (Equine knowledge preferred).
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, and Saturdays; assist with training meetings.

Responsibilities

• Schedule ambulatory and in-house patient visits.
• Assist with daily record keeping and accounts receivable questions.
• Answer questions from clients by phone or email in a professional manner.
• Check clients in and out of the hospital; assist with loading/unloading horses as needed.
• Process payments and manage basic financial transactions.
• Maintain reception area and stock supplies.
