Job summary

Tuskegee University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching veterinary students, graduate students, and graduate veterinarians, with primary focus on small animal internal medicine and clinical service within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• ACVIM/ECVIM SAIM board certification strongly preferred.
• Residency-trained or significant clinical experience in small animal internal medicine encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom, clinical, and laboratory instruction to veterinary students, graduate students, and interns.
• Provide expert consultation and clinical service in Small Animal Internal Medicine within the VTH.
• Mentor students, interns, and graduate veterinarians.
• Engage in teaching across all four years of the veterinary curriculum.
• Develop innovative teaching, service, and outreach programs.
• Participate in collaborative research and creative scholarship.
• Contribute to community service and regional outreach consistent with the college's mission.
