Job summary

Circle T Ranch in Lincoln, CA is hiring an Equine Program Assistant to support our horseback riding program for individuals with developmental disabilities. This part-time role involves assisting with riding activities, caring for horses, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable experience for participants. We offer an outdoors-friendly environment; training is provided.

  • Hardworking with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Outgoing and enjoys working with people of all abilities.
  • Comfortable working around horses and handling them safely.
  • Enjoys being outdoors for several hours in varying weather conditions.
  • Able to walk for extended periods.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Horse experience is preferred, but training is available for the right attitude and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

We’re Hiring! Equine Program Assistant – Circle T Ranch


Circle T Ranch is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and outgoing Equine Program Assistant to assist with our horseback riding program serving individuals with developmental disabilities.


This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference while working outdoors with horses in a fun, supportive environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with horseback riding activities and client support.
  • Groom, tack, and handle horses safely.
  • Lead horses during lessons and activities.
  • Clean stalls, arenas, and barn areas as needed.
  • Prepare horses and equipment before and after sessions.
  • Help provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for participants.
